Playing

Moving and digging
Touch and drag anywhere on the left side of the screen to steer; push the stick toward a block to aim at it. Hold the drill button to dig the aimed block. The jump button sits in the bottom corner (hold it to fly once you have the jetpack).
Items
The button above the drill uses your equipped item: place a ladder or a torch, drop a rope, throw a flare. Tap the small bag beside it to pick another item. Hold the button with dynamite equipped to aim the throw, then let go.
Stuck in a hole?
Wall-jump up a narrow shaft, place a ladder, carve steps into the wall, or open the pause menu and choose Call Rescue.
Text too small or too large?
Pause → Text size scales every menu and the HUD.

Purchases

What's free and what isn't
Chapter 1 is free. The Full Expedition is a one-time purchase that opens the rest of the world. Sparks are optional; they can buy gear and buildings outright, and everything can also be earned with coins and ore. There are no ads, timers or subscriptions.
Restoring the Full Expedition
On a new device or after reinstalling, open the pause menu → Full Expedition → Restore, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Restoring Sparks and items bought with them
Sparks are kept on your device and backed up to your own iCloud. After reinstalling, sign in to the same iCloud account and open the Sparks shop; it syncs automatically (or tap Sync / Retry). Sparks are consumable, so Apple's Restore doesn't bring them back on its own.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. To ask for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your progress

Where is my game saved?
On your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes your progress (purchases can be restored as above). Back up your iPhone to keep your progress safe.
Starting over
Pause → New Game. Your Full Expedition purchase and anything you bought with Sparks come with you.
